Expanding the support to our Chapters is a top priority. As former Chapter COs, we are both aware of how much STARFLEET needs strong, vibrant Chapters. An improved, accessible recruitment toolkit is at the top of our list. The current administration has laid the groundwork, but I believe there’s an opportunity to grow these resources exponentially—creating modern, accessible, and eye-catching tools for members to use in their communities.
The Membership Database isn’t where it needs to be, and I intend to make it a primary focus in my first year. I’ve been vocal about this issue at the ECAB level, and I’m determined to see decisions finalized and progress made.
While it’s a bold and potentially controversial goal, I believe we need to engage with the rights holders of Star Trek. Gaining official licensing could clarify our position and expand opportunities for the organization. It won’t be easy, but I believe the long-term benefits are worth the effort.

1st June 2025 - 30th September 2025: The journey to elect STARFLEET's next Commander and Vice-Commander officially begins on June 1st, 2025! This period is dedicated to soliciting nominations and full-scale campaigning, allowing candidates to share their vision and connect with members. Key milestones include nominations closing on June 30th, candidates announcing their running mates by July 15th, and all campaign literature being submitted by August 1st for the official Election Publication.
1st July 2025 - 30th September 2025: Once campaigning concludes, the focus shifts to voting. All official ballots and election publications will be distributed to eligible voting members by September 1st, 2025. You will have the entire month of September to cast your vote, with all ballots needing to be received by an independent election professional by September 30th. The winning slate will be notified by October 15th, and official results will be announced in the November Communiqué.

Per the STARFLEET Bylaws and Member Handbook Section 04 (Voting & Elections), the election process for the election of the Commander, STARFLEET (CS) and Vice Commander, STARFLEET (VCS) involves several key stages:
Dates: 1st June 2025 - 30 June 2025
The official announcement that the election process has begun, and eligible members can submit their nominations.
Dates: by no later than 30th June 2025
Nominations for candidates are accepted from Commanding Officers and Regional Coordinators
Dates: 1st June 2025 - 30th September 2025
Candidates engage with the membership to share their platforms and visions.
Dates: 1st July 2025 - 30 September 2025
Eligible members cast their votes.
Dates: 1st October - 15th October 2025, with the winning candidate notified no later than the 15th October 2025
Votes are tallied, and the winners are announced.
Dates: December 2025 - January 2026
